Evening Showcase with Miss Parker Leigh

Ever since she could create sounds, Parker has tried to imitate me singing.  At first I thought it was just because she wanted to be like Mommy, but now she sings ALL THE TIME.  She sings every song she knows and she learns songs very quickly.  It helps that we have her in Kiddie College and they learn many songs there (complete with arm motions and dance steps).  She also gets some entertainment and learning songs from her daycare as well.  My favorites though are the Disney princess songs.

Mema and Aunt Connie got the little people Disney princess castle for Parker for Christmas this year where she can put a princess on the dance floor and hear her say a few phrases and sing a few lines of one of her signature songs.  At first Parker just enjoyed playing with the princesses and watching them "sing" and dance as the music played.  Now she has learned all the songs however, and prefers to perform them herself.  So our evenings now end with "just a few princess songs".  She'll go over to the castle to start the song, then run out to the middle of the floor with her microphone and sing, dance and twirl until the music ends.  It's the best part of our day. :)

Now we just have to build her a stage. :)
