Okay, this is the THIRD attempt at this post. I apologize that the pictures are a little out of order. I'll make sure the caption them well. :)
We arrived at the Hamel's home in Homosassa, FL on Monday evening. The girls had an absolutely wonderful time there and Parker has been talking about Grandma Phyllis and Grandpa Ed ever since!
Juliet is teething pretty hard core right now. It's made for some fussy nights, and a lot of chewing on tags.
You wouldn't know it by looking at her though! All smiles!!
One of the greatest parts of this trip so far is seeing the girls play together.
It's obvious they both really enjoy having a sister.
Parker singing to Sissy. Hot Dog Hot Dog our problem's SOLVED.....
Picture Perfect!
Juliet with Grandma Hamel
Bedtime story time with Grandma!
Parker found a new best friend! She absolutely adored this ceramic cat and wanted it to follow her around the house. We told her it couldn't so she just went into the room it was in every so often to give it hugs and kisses and talk to it.
One afternoon Parker and Daddy went for a walk through the neighborhood. Parker gathered pine cones moss, and a stick
On Thursday we went to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park. There were some people there who were nice enough to take a family photo for us!
We could not convince Parker that the alligators were not cute and cuddly. She had fun with this replica.
She even wanted to give it hugs!
She wanted to give this alligator hugs too. Thankfully there was a fence between them.
Juliet had lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa!!
When we first got to the park there was a boat ride to get to the main entrance. Parker was pretty restless, but she did enjoy seeing the pretty wood ducks. Sadly all of my pictures of them turned out blurry...
This is the baby alligator that Parker got to pet after the presentation.
Peek a boo with Juliet!!
When we first got to the park. Parker's ready to go see some animals!
Feeding the birds and ducks
Another family picture taken by a wonderful stranger.
Really cool picture. This eagle knew he was in front of the flag. Every picture I took of him he was obviously posing. I liked this one best because of the strutting crane up top.
We lucked out and there were about 5 wild manatees in the park the day we went. Parker enjoyed seeing them play.
She liked the view best from Daddy's shoulders.
They had an underwater viewing room. It was a neat experience to see the manatees and schools of fish from under the water.
Parker did not want to pose in the manatee. Mostly because she was hungry. This is the best picture I could get.
Excited we finally decided to stop for food!
Another picture from the underwater viewing room.
Parker eats just like her momma!
That's a bad thing?
Lou the hippo. If we had gone one day later we'd have been there for his 53rd birthday party~
Daddy and Jules at lunch!
Picture with Mommy
This was Daddy's favorite part of the park. The big alligator in this picture picked a fight with the other one. The fight went on for about 5 minutes and one of them left bleeding. It was pretty intense. Sadly it still did not deter Parker from asking if she could hug them.....
Tried to get some pretty pictures of Parker in a gazebo.
This was her way of telling me she was too tired.
One more family picture before we headed home.
Parker's choice of souvenir. She named him Florida Bear.
Checking her wingspan.
Hugs for the alligator replica before we left. Apparently he looks cuddly...
Juliet joining in the fun with Parker and Grandma back at the house.
Sticker fun!
Grampa cuddles!
Picture time with the Hamels!
Until our next post!!
