Florida 2013 - Day 2

Day 2 in Pictures

I picked hotels that served free breakfast so that was one less meal we had to plan for.  Turned out to be great this morning because Daddy needed more sleep if he was going to drive all day so I took the girls downstairs for breakfast.

While Daddy was getting dressed for the day, Parker decided she was going to wear his shoes.

Parker always insists we listen to Matchbox Twenty in the car.  Put your hands up!

We needed a place to stop for awhile and let the girls get some energy out.  Since we're going to disney later in the trip (for Mommy), I decided we should stop somewhere that would interest Darren.  The USS Alabama it was!

They had a picnic area where we stopped and ate lunch.  This worked out well since I'd packed sandwiches anyway!  After Parker finished eating she and Daddy walked around and found feathers.

There was a large bell in front of the gift shop.  Daddy helped Parker to ring it!  It was really loud!

Parker is doing really well at potty training, but sometimes gets too excited.  When she decided she needed to go potty a second time before we went on the ship, Juliet and I hung out and did a quick photo shoot outside.

Parker is showing us just how big this ship is!

Sitting around on the ship.

Smilin' girl.

Despite a lot of playing, Parker did pay attention to some of the things Daddy told her and showed her.

Speaking of playing....  Parker thought she could read the names better if she hung from the bar..

Captain Parker!

Captain Daddy!!

Tickles!!

Showing Parker how they shot the big guns.

Daddy giving a quick lesson.

View from the front of the ship.

Shooting another of the big guns.

Cute and silly.

All smiles with her Daddy!

Peek a boo from the USS Drum Submarine!

This was Parker's way of telling us she was getting tired. :)

Not too tired to drive the boat though!

Posing with Daddy by the bell on the top of the submarine.

Smiles with Mommy!  We had a fun afternoon!

Jules with Daddy once she woke up!

We stopped at Chili's for dinner once we got the Destin.  Parker enjoyed coloring!

Parker thought our room needed extra cleaning.  Such a great little helper!  We told her sissy needed her big sister to show her how to go to sleep tonight and Parker was the best example ever!  If only Juliet could stay asleep...  We had another great day though!!
